Meet Information
East Mountain High School is hosting it's small school invitational cross country meet on Saturday, September 24, 2022. We have a 1.5 mile trail in the woods behind our school. It will be two lap challenging dirt course. There are several rolling hills and longer straight-aways, but one big hill that will be in the middle of the race and again at the end. It will begin and end on a soccer field and funnel into a wide dirt path. Also, be aware that EMHS is at 7,000 feet in elevation. Overall, the path makes a very good cross country running trail.
East Mountain High School and the trail are located just 15 miles east of Albuquerque, on North Highway 14, near the Sandia Ski Slopes. Please drop off runners by the field, but parking is available for larger vehicles in the lot at the school which is just to the West of the field and off to the right of La Madera Road.
